Scholarships

Scholarships and grants that are marked by an asterisk are only awarded to students who personally apply for them. All other scholarships and grants are awarded based on academic achievement and progress. Details concerning additional scholarships appear on the scholarship website of the University and the Dean of Students.

BA

1. *The University awards outstanding achievement grants to incoming students with a high entry score.
2. *Special scholarships are awarded by the Dean of Students to specific populations.
3. The Rector's Award for Excellence is awarded to excellent students in their second or third year of studies.
4. Memorial scholarships in memory of the University's students and employees who have fallen in Israel's conflicts are awarded to excellent students in their second or third year of studies.
5. The Inbar Attia and Tali Gordon Memorial Scholarship Fund awards memorial scholarships to excellent students in their second or third year of studies.

MA

1. Excellence scholarships are awarded by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities.
2. Excellence scholarships are awarded by the Shoshana and Zvi Puzis Fund.
3. Excellence scholarships are awarded by the scholarship fund in memory of Yochanan Goldman to excellent MA students in the Department of Linguistics.
4. *Scholarships are awarded by the fund in memory of Ignatz Bubis.
5. *Scholarships in memory of Zvulun Hammer are awarded to college graduates.
6. *Scholarships are awarded by the Lois and Martin Whitman Scholarship Fund to Arab students.
7. *Grants in memory of Rina Drory are awarded to excellent students.
8. Students employed as research assistants to senior faculty enjoy financial support.
9. Students employed as teaching assistants receive University salary including all accompanying benefits, as well as an exemption from tuition fees, in accordance with the percentage of the position.

PhD

PhD students administratively belong to the School of Philosophy, Linguistics, and Science Studies, which is in charge of awarding scholarships.

1. *Tuition grants are awarded to new students by the School of Philosophy, Linguistics, and Science Studies.
2. Excellence grants are awarded by the Shoshana and Zvi Puzis Fund.
3. Subsistence scholarships are awarded to excellent students by the School of Philosophy, Linguistics, and Science Studies.
4. *Scholarships are awarded by the fund in memory of Ignatz Bubis.
5. Scholarships in memory of Nathan Rotenstreich (Vatat) are awarded to excellent PhD students.
6. A scholarship in memory of Dr. David and Sarah Orgler is awarded to excellent PhD students.
7. The Karen Colton Scholarship is awarded to excellent PhD students.
8. *Scholarships are awarded by the Lois and Martin Whitman Scholarship Fund to Arab students.
9. *Grants in memory of Rina Drory are awarded to excellent students.
10. Students employed as teaching assistants receive University salary including all accompanying benefits, as well as an exemption from tuition fees, in accordance with the percentage of the position.

PhD students in neurolinguistics who are admitted to the Sagol School of Neuroscience receive scholarships from the School throughout their entire studies (in accordance with the School's terms).
