The Journal of Israeli History

The Journal of Israeli History: Politics, Society, Culture is dedicated to the scholarly examination of issues and ideas in the history of Israel and the Zionist movement. The journal presents a wide range of scholarly research whose scope extends from the origins and development of Zionism and the pre-state Jewish community in Palestine to the establishment of the State of Israel and its subsequent history. The journal, which is published by Taylor & Francis Group in the UK, appears twice a year, in spring and autumn. Until 1994 the journal was entitled Studies in Zionism.

The Journal of Israeli History is edited by Prof. Anita Shapira of Tel Aviv University and Prof. Derek J. Penslar of the University of Toronto. Assistant Editor: Philippa Shimrat. Its Editorial Board consists of the following members: Prof. Dan Laor, Prof. Joseph Mali, Prof. Menachem Mautner, Prof. Shalom Ratzabi, and Prof. Asher Susser.

Notes for Contributors

Articles should be submitted in two copies, typed in double space with ample margins. The name of the author should appear on a separate cover sheet, along with full contact details (address, tel./fax and, if possible, e-mail address). Articles should not exceed 10,000 words, including notes, which should be typed as endnotes after the text.
